This blanket is very hard to control the temp. It should be at least noticeable on high whether or not it's working. Very disappointed and frustrated to be looking for another blanket.

Ive tried other electric blankets and their wiring is so far apart you can feel the cold between them

After a week of use with heating it i would warn folks that it the timer only works up to 9

Also do the warmth setting last as messing with the timer without checking the warmth resulted in getting toasted at level 8 instead of the 5 i set it at and i had to turn it down and stick arms and legs out from under the covers until it cooled down an hour or more in the middle of the night

It is also only king sized and is about 6 inches to short for a cal king so needs extra fabric sewn on to be able to tuck it in and keep your feet warm when you dangle them over the foot of the bed which you need to do as it is so heavy
