I am very pleased with the blanket in every way.
This is a wonderfully warm, comfortable, even cozy product.
It has a timer and many settings that are very easy to use with the controller.
The major complaint is with the heat controls.
Packaging/appearance
Product was really ez to set up and use right out of the bag!
Competitiveness
I will keep you posted about controls but with a 5-year warranty, i'm not sure how that could go wrong!

The cords actually are only 10 feet from controller to where they connect to the blanket

So after i installed the blanket and tried to connect the controllers i found out ooops those 16 foot electrical cords shrank to only 10 feet

Theres a fiveyear warranty and you have to register your product within 30 days from purchase
