Pros

These are cheaper, ul listed, and you get 2 switched/metered outlets instead of 1 with the zw15rm outlets. Although the wiring is difficult to figure out at first. Requires understanding and capabilities for wiring.

Easy to install. It's tight in standard outlet boxes but you can get it to fit. The instructions are good.

The app lets you configure them in many ways. This device is very compact. It has it's own web server which you can access by almost any web browser.

Cons

Many modern american homes have 12 gauge wiring the shelly only accepts 14 gauge but just barely. Poor documentation and poor support from allterco.

I generally try to avoid wifi since it’s usually crowded; z-wave and zigbee usually work much better.
