The main use for the casters in this case is to be able to move the stool when not in use w/o having to pick it up.
They seem to work just fine, dont know if they will last with my mother in-law using them, we"ll see.

This stool is used on a commercial carpet tile flooring wo padding so it does catch some when sitting on it and trying to roll it to a different location

We didn’t drill holes in the chest for them just put them on the wood itself and they’re still are thin enough so they don’t raise the chest too much and don’t show under it
