Pros
Bought to install on my wife's kona cindercone. Very nice product for the money and an inexpensive upgrade. It integrates perfectly with my other shimano components.
Fast, great shift feel, accurate and solidly built. Easy to read while moving fast, no binding or slipping when moving up and down gears. Minutes and then another 5 or so adjusting the position to my liking.
Now they work on the easy stuff and the rough stuff. My son really likes them and they work great. They contain directions for all different kind of shimano parts.

Much better than the junk that came with the bike, much easier to shift.
They won't work with the megarange rear gear cog.
I got this along with the 8-speed right shifter mechanism.

But it says that it includes cables and housing yet it only comes with cables and with no housing

The first problem i had was the location of the small lever sometimes gives me a minor cut on my knuckle when landing hard from a jump or drop

The second problem i had was the red indicator on my left shifter came loose and no longer shows which gear im in probably easy fix

That being said i am really rough on my full rigid bike with little to absorb impacts and vibrations and i am sure these shifters are perfect for the majority of riders
