Pros
After several years of mixed riding it still works beautifully. Better quality than tourney for only a few bucks more. Solid and reliable without being finicky - good for a daily rider or mtb.
Direct mount makes installation a breeze and the shifting is smooth and precise. Paired this with a shimano altus right side trigger shifter, 7 speed. Easy to install and shifted great.
Cons

This was an exact replacement at a great price.
Altus has been the king of high quality low prices.
This time they had the altus derailler for 15 dollars so i went with it.
Which is why it is cheaper, the higher end stuff is aluminum to save weight.

I will never know if the altus is easier to adjust because it was factory adjusted right on the money

With the shifter and chain on the smallest cog i snugged the cable and tightened the clamp

Naturally i had already run in the barrel adjuster so as to have adjustment when the cable stretches

You do have to remove the small gear screw and spread slightly to get the old one off and new one on
