Pros & Cons
Pros
Used to replace a tourney derailleur on a specialized kids bike. Allows me to use the big gear on the mega range.
Shimano altus is a step up, installed and adjusted easily after bending hanger back into place. Dialed it in. No bling necessary.
Cons
The threaded axle screw that passes thru the center of each of the two idlers quickly becomes loose. There is a hanger available via amazon that can attach to such a cheap bike even though there is no pocket to mount that hanger onto. I know it was in... Read More
Highlights
Quality
The all-metal construction feels solid and i have confidence that it will last for many rides to come.
The direct mount feature makes installation a breeze and the shifting is smooth and precise.
After two rides, started having issues with it kept having to adjust it.
I was looking for a new derailleur since my last derailleur was mangled after my bbshd middrive motor ripped it right off its hangar.

Shipping

Maximum rear sprocket size is supposedly 34 tooth and i found it best the adjust the b tension screw inward quite a bit the one on the bracket that limits the derailleur front and back swivelling to help the upper jockey wheel clear the larger sprocket 28 tooth in my case better
