Pros & Cons
Pros
Diy e-bike conversion. Heavy for a race bike but good for everything else. Swapped out the hg200 from a new raleigh ebike for a little slower peddling in high gear. For more information on this product, visit www.
Good working cassette. I believe it is compatible. Works fine.
Fits on the 8-11 spd shimano hubs perfectly so no need to use a spacer with a 7 spd cassette. Just the right fit with no issues shifting. Fit the trex.
To the reviewer, and anyone else that would like to know, microshift makes a 36 tooth cassette and up to a 42.
Using a chain whip, pipe wrench, large channel locks, etc. Insert small needle nose pliers into the hub. Rotate the pliers counter clockwise.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to install on the bike and has held up really well with 1500w motor with really high torque.
Tool and simply used the old chain clamped with vice grips to keep the cassette from spinning.
Very disappointed, this could be very dangerous if the cassette were to come apart during a ride.
The new chain caused it to slip even more than the old.
Price
I thought the price was definitly worth it and my husband installed it on my mountain bike.
Not to mention how smooth the shifting is now and all of this for a great price .
Its cheaper and i like the black color vs the stainless steel color.
Got these for my giant revel and work better then the old pair i had on there that cost twice as much
Shipping
Anyways it arrived today and 15 minutes after it was delivered i had installed it and put the new chain back and all slippage w... Read More
Packaging/appearance
The part was packaged with care and was installed easily.
I thought i got a 7 speed 13t-34t but it turns out they package the 11t separate.
Competitiveness
I have used sram and shimano on my 2019 trek marlin 6 and i like the shimano generally more.

You will need a small spacer if you plan on removing a cog to use on a 7 speed hub otherwise it will be loose

Update i did some research and found out that the rivets on the cassette are only really there for easier assembly when they are being made

They dont really provide any support when assembled on the wheel hub as the lock ring will hold everything together when tightened to spec
