Pros

Works on both derailleur and brake cables. They work and are a needed item if you wrench alot.

The aluminum is soft enough that they clap well on the end of the cable. Can use pliers, electric wire crimping tool, or the expensive bicycle crimp tool. Easy to crimp on, holds well and doesn't rust.

Some companies make flashier color anodized end caps. Silver is classy and goes with everything.

Cons

Not as advertised. They are not derailleur cable ends, they are the bigger version for brake cables.
