Pros & Cons
Pros
Light, affordable, comfortable and grippy for a rider with size 12 feet. My son likes the way it looks and rides though. If you are curious about the pedals in the pics, they are ht components pa03a bought through amazon.
Used this to replace a fc-ct90 altus, shimano still recalls. Watch chain length and rear derailleur. Chain rings are individually removable and not riveted.
Came exactly as advertised. Awesome product. Recommend buying from this seller.
Great affordable upgrade from the factory riveted crankset. Great for a replacement or budget retrofit. Easy to use and install.
The crankset fits a 1996 stumpjumper fs but you will need to buy a bottom bracket with a longer spindle “73”x112. My bike has square taper and worked well. Easy to install with crank puller.

Competitiveness
It operates even better than it did brand new!
It is 100% better than both the sunlite set and the original equipment on the bike.
Because the bike was still like new with a chrome moly frame and had some comparable components to new bikes in the $500 and up... Read More
Looking back and trying to compare, it seems like the 170's left me feeling like i was pedaling and not going anywhere at times.
