The spd cleat clamping force is not strong enough. This pair, however, was obviously used to some degree and were covered with black oil/grease with tiny broken pieces/chips of plastic falling off them.

Was looking for a pair of hybrid clips for mountain trials, this set works fantastic.
This doesn't appear to be adjustable and i've ridden about 500 km so not going to loosen up.
The pedals are strong and relatively light.

For short rides technical terrain lots of stops or when i dont have my bike shoes i use the flats

So far touch wood ive never come out the clips when i didnt intend to nor have i had troubles getting out of them when i need to

They are very slightly tight in the bearing which often prevents them hanging in the correct position for clipping in

I often end up on the flat side when im pulling away from a stop and then have to try to flip them over not fun in traffic
