There are two downsides first you can only click in on one side so its not a great pedal for single track when youre on a steep slope

These are great pedals for the price and mine came with the 51 cleats although you can use the 56 cleats as well if you prefer multidirectional release

I believe the specified torque was 8 nm but you really just have to get them firm they tighten as you pedal
