These are exceptional pedals that are lighter than spdsl pedals that are 1

If you want to ride with normal shoes buy dualsided pedals and accept the resulting weight penalty

Cons the blue coating scratches off very easily so i do not recommend these as first spd pedals or for any sort of use where they will get scratched unless you dont mind scratches
