Pros & Cons
Pros
Lightweight, stiff sole, and micro adjustable shoes for a reasonable price. The firmness sole is outstanding and produces nice pedaling power. I used them on two gravel rides and believe these are excellent for gravel riding.
Highlights
Quality
The shoe is well constructed, and the double boa keeps your foot in the heel pocket!

5 years until sole cracked in half at the place where that carbon insert plate ends.
I think it is a bit defective design and that carbon insert edge is slowly destroying resin part.
Competitiveness
Owned sh-xc701 previous model which is pretty much the same.
