Pros

The one downside is that it has scuffed already for only having it half a year, but what reel doesn't? If this is in your price point, i highly recommend because it performs like a reel at a much higher price point.

Reels are amazing, and cast like a dream thanks to that svs infinity braking. They feel as nice as my higher priced shimanos and actually outcast them!

All xts all work perfectly. Have no issues with that. Shimano does it right. Works perfectly.

Cons

The reel is so tiny it barely takes any of the spool. It sticks with the brake system and you can’t get the spools out. Bad, junk brake system.

Waited to leave a review till i had a chance to fully test this reel, and boy am i happy with the performance of this light weight reel.

I went with the hg ratio and that too is perfect in terms of reel speed.

It's a basically a baby curado k.

If this is in your price point, i highly recommend because it performs like a reel at a much higher price point.

For the money it’s the best reel i have and that includes a diawa, lee’s, abu, and kast king.

I fish bass tournaments all year long and have no problem trusting these slx xt reels.

I have around twenty or more baitcasting reels.
