Pros

Great size for backpack. Drag is infinitely adjustable to add a bit more game when i want to play. I own the ax 2000, which is now the ix 2000.

It is smooth and casts well. The shimano is much lighter while feeling more solid. Just wore it out from hours and hours of casting.

This reel is awesome. And for this price. Great gift in christmas. Gongon na na na.

I know shimano makes durable reels. In my opinion this reel is a steal for this price. This is a good quality inexpensive reel.

Reel to go with a south bend adventure pac telescopic fishing pole. Works great with an ultralight rod for trout fishing while backpacking. I do this to get really lightweight lures hanging down far enough.
