Pros

This shimano derailleur is durable and fits my trek well. The pulley not only pivots but the arm the cable goes into has rotation built into it.

Cons

The gear arm has a weird way of coiling up. The hinge mechanism is plastic and broke at the pivot point. Very sloppy mechanism.

Really not that hard to replace once you watch a youtube video.

It was easy to install and the gears shift nicely!

I would recommend this derailleur, as it is what you get as advertised and at a good price.

Most of all, this derailleur is very affordable.

I really thought this was going to be much more expensive than it turned out to be!

It's a nice little replacement derailleur for 3× systems for the price!

Arrived on time and was an exact match to what i had to replace on my bike.

I replaced a similar derailleur, older model that has been discontinued.

It is going onto a cheap walmart bike anyway, so there is no need to go to top-tier shimano, or even the higher-tier entry level.
