The threads are decently smooth and the caps go on easily. This is the first time i bought the camo one, however i know the paint on the black one holds up very well. They are heavy, but also very sturdy and well made.

The interior of tube is only 15/16. Inner diameter is actually <1. Not as advertised. I was ripped off a couple dollars for this junk to be sent back.
