Pros
Casmir is a knight who tries to steal parts of a stargate. He and his roommate kim are swept into the middle of a pirate/mercenary game.
A terrific story. I have a litmus test i use on is it an engaging enjoyable read? But if you do, this is great entertainment. Highly recommended.

Buroker’s books always have such amazingly likeable and multifaceted characters. She is a wonderful story teller.
This is the middle book in a three book boxed set which is part of a 9 book series. An entertaining second book. This book deserves a good one.
Cons
At first it's fun, unfortunately the two main characters are tedious to listen to. Each character gets trapped in endless loops of circular thinking. It reminds me of the phrase redundant information is redundant.
