The float does work, and the pump really rips the water. The float doesn't trigger until there's 2 plus water built up, probably 2-1/4.

Super easy to install to the battery and i just ran a piece of garden hose out the back and zip tied it.

I bought this in the spring to rig up a bilge in my 14’ aluminum boat and it’s been working great all summer.

In an aluminum boat screws through the floor do not work, so i had to adapt the mounting.

So buy from them, great product, but buy the mount type you need.
