Pros
Floats the rod and reel. After my last rod/reel fell into the ocean off my kayak, these are now on all my rods/reels for kayak trips. They work great and will easily repay the cost.
Cons
They make the pole too heavy at the reel end and it was difficult to cast with lighter weighted baits. Try something other than these.
