Pros
Light is super bright, highly visible at night for kayaking. Looks petty water resistant, has a screwable base (i wish it were a suction cup) the light works great and is very bright but they need to redesign / reinforce the base cover.
Cons

This light seems to be well made and should work well on my kayak.
Original product of excellent quality, just what i needed, thank you
The first one lasted about 5 years finally the rubber on the power button had to much uv rays and fell apart.
The light works great and is very bright but they need to redesign / reinforce the base cover where it bolts to the post.

Base on other reviews of the weak point inside the bottom cap

A simple fix to unscrew the allen bolt and drop a small washer inside the cap to greatly increase the strenght

Take the 2 minutes to do that and screw it closed gently with silicone grease on threads and oring to improve water resistance

Not truly a submesible design as is because the mount bolt is drilled thru the case but otherwise a water resistant looking design

I found the metal fastening clip difficult to use because i have arthritis but i got along fine without it the stem of the light fits pretty snugly into the rubber base so i wasnt concerned at all that it might fall out

Have used a couple of these on kayaks over time the base failed on one due to the kayak rocking in the waves
