Pros

The author provides tips on how to make the best use of the book. The level of reading is probably advanced beginner, so you should have a smattering of basic french vocabulary before you undertake reading this. I'm not sure how much a total beginner ... Read More

New vocabulary words are in bold, and have english translations with them. I really like how they bolded the difficult words within the text. It also introduces an amazing way to snowball your vocabulary.

The résumé and the quiz part are also great tools to assess my understanding. The short quiz after each chapter reinforces the learning.

Cons

Amazon and apple feud prevents an easy purchase and load on to an iphone of the audio product. All stories in these books are the exact same for every language. Amazon really needs to provide a book preview to avoid these kinds of situations.
