The rubbery circles on the ends of this rod are too soft and slithery to hold solidly without the brackets.

The rod is several metal tubes that interlock together (one section did not seat and could be pulled apart).

This is way nicer than expected and the price is really good.

Overall lowered rating by one star for these issues but in all it is a good buy and value for the money.
