Pros
The screen is extremely effective. Ignore any bad reviews if there is any and buy this. Worth every penny.
They work exceptionally well on small diaphragm condensers. It's bombproof when it comes to plosives and wind noises. I have the pencil condenser in front of me out of the camera shot when shooting video.
Windscreen creates same distance between voice and microphone capsule. Works great for close talking applications; if something is wrong, it's not the mic. My go to mic is the electrovoice re20, which i've used almost exclusively.
The sm-57 is incredible mic if you're on a sort of budget and need a dynamic that doesn't pick up sound from your open-back headphones with a noise gate. By moving farther away and reducing the proximity effect, it changes the frequency response of th... Read More

Price
Expensive but will pay for itself the first time you use it if you need to use sm-81s outdoors.
Still, not as ridiculous as spending $400 when you really don't need to.

Most people should skip the sm7b and get a sm57 with this pop filter, and save a ton of money.
I use them on different brands of microphones including the shure sm 57.

Inside the foam there is a cavity with a mesh

You can hear that mesh move around and adjust if you stick the mic in too far or if your mic doesnt fit

I removed the basket of the blue encore 200 dynamic mic and slipped this on and the tone changed completely
