Mic Weight Support
Customers have mixed opinions on the mic weight support of the Shure by Gator Deluxe Articulating Desktop Podcasting Mic Boom Arm with Cable Management Channel. While some customers praise its ability to hold heavy microphones like the Shure SM7B and others, a significant number of customers report issues with the arm's inability to support the weight of their microphones, causing it to sag or even break.
Adjustability
Customers have expressed frustration with the adjustability of the mic boom arm, with some reporting difficulty in setting up the tension and making small adjustments. A few customers mentioned that they had to return their initial purchase due to the lack of adjustment freedom and stiffness, while others reported mechanical failure within a short period of time. However, some customers were able to get it in the right position after some effort and found it satisfactory for their needs.

Got it second hand here at amazon and it was flawless, won’t buy any other cheaper sort in the futur
Packaging/appearance
The box had clearly been open but the product was without blemish i was simple to install, no tools required.
