Ive owned 3 different low profile microphone boom arms and within months of owning them the hardware would begin to fail and i could not get them to hold the wait of my sm7b

With some stands i had issues with the microphone not staying in place or slowly going up or down over time due to being too light and i was unable to tighten them anymore

For my dynamic cardioid mic i have used a cheaper scissor style arm and it has worked ok but the scissor style would not work well for a condenser

I though the pictures looks a little odd with a combination of matte black and gloss black but it doesnt look odd once mounted
