Pros
Great mic, does exactly what it is meant to do. Won't degrade and wear out like a crystal either. Is being promoted along with shure's other classic mikes, and rightfully so.
The tone is great. The sound is very good. The thing is sturdy as a brick.
This microphone sounds great. Totally recommend. Won't regret.
Every harp sounds better behind this mic. This mic provides me the loudest, gainiest, dirtiest, ampiest sound for my harps.
Cons
It's way too big and heavy to play for any length of time and make the cupping moves that give your playing its tonal range and texture. The joke is on whomever thinks this is a cool mic.

While the sound and build are as good as everyone says, there are two blatant flaws, both stemming from the same place: the volume knob.
Price
A little pricey, but it sounds great and is pretty comfortable to hold with a harmonica.

I have already 34tested the durability34 of this device 2 or 3 times and it came off the floor still functioning up to specifications

Its not a crystal mic or anything but its not fragile like a crystal and wont degrade and wear out like a crystal either

I got over 10 years of abusive service out of the last one and it still works minus the volume pot its now my backup unit

But to make it more useful i designed a clipon plastic adapter to allow it to be mounted in a typical mic stand
