Since i'm not running a complex, multi-mic setup i only need a simple xlr interface. The motiv app's limiter and high-pass filter (75hz) options are handy for cutting out extra noise.

The eq included with shures app is good for people who just want to start using their mic right away id recommend an app like voicemeter if you want to fiddle with some knobs and try making your voice sound cooler
