Position of the mic is perfect along side the position of * are smart, no more dangling * ear aside. Big advantage here is the integrated and well positioned microphone. Hated losing those apple connectors from jack to lightning.

The microphone audio level is so low as to make it unusable for phone calls. The speaker for the phone is virtually useless.

Bendable over ear wires are nice, seems like very sturdy construction.
I am actually using them with by etymotic e4xr iems and it impressively improved the audio, especially the bass.
This is a very poor design decision which will result in this connection failing over time.

This is as much a waste of money as the bluetooth adapter.
A little over priced, but not if it lasts!
But the only grievance is 'shure should prove a 30$ product for simple signing cable.

The cable itself is wellmade however there are some questionable design decisions that will affect the longevity of this cable

The lightning connector does not have a strain relief for the very thick cable that connects to the control box and the cable comes straight out of the connector instead of at a right angle which place is more stress on the connector itself

Essentially i do not feel this is a cable that you can use every day and just stuff into your bag – this is a cable that you use for listening at home and you gingerly take care of it when it’s not in use
