Its smart enough to switch between sources if you want to be connected to multiple devices at the same time there are some hiccups but not a deal breakeralternative optionsin the process of deciding between alternatives the only one that really made sense as an alternative to this was the westone w10 the bluetooth adapter which together would be around 200

The wire is long meant to curl around the ears in a confusing way the brains of the device are stored in a bulky case that hangs in the middle of the wire
