Pros

These are absolutely awesome. This is not a brag but it does give some perspective to my pickiness when it came to finding some iems that made it for me. I know they're gonna last long. Cnet mentions that the iem is a little on the large side.

Cables keep their shape so when you wrap it, you'll need to unwind it and keep it unwound/straight. Lower connector is where most of the * will occur.

Shures se530 are great for the digital generation because their sound presentation simply makes the bright sound of digital mastering sound more organic and emotional. Crisp clean and clear with wonderful rounded sound reproduction.

Get this headphone. The midrange is the best i've heard on a headphone. These little guys exceed all such full-sizers in sound quality.

The headset is safer to your hearing in load environments than earphones that just sit in the ears without sealing them like the those that come with the ipod.

Cons

They're bright and transparent but lack in depth because of minimal bass. They feel like cheap, *, 'made in china' junk.

I am convinced the units they received are either defective or the user is not accomplished with fitting the iem to their ear.

Price

While these sound extremely good for earbuds, the price is a bit tough to justify.

The sound is pretty much the same, the price is the same, and the wire is built like a tank to fix the e5xx wiring splitting problem.

Shipping

They are worth it -- even more so when you factor in the excellent price and shipping (plus sales tax situation) from here at amazon.

These actually arrived with basic shipping several days before they were scheduled.

As an extra, the packaging the earphones arrived in is really beautiful and functional for retaining the extra pieces and documentation.

The headphones by default, has a foam type ear-tips attached.

First off i would like to say that these are the best iem's i have owned.

I read some reviews, did some internet investigation and found nothing but praise for the shure se530 sound isolating earphones.

You won't be impressed if you listen to a 128kbps mp3.
