Pros & Cons

Pros

Headphones come with a detachable coiled cable (proprietary screw on, with screw-on 1/4 inch adapter), extra cable and pads, and a pouch. The cable seems to be the first thing to go on a pair of headphones. Replaceable cable is replaceable(!

I listen at different volumes and they sounded very good at low volumes. I'm pretty sure he blew past their max but hey they still sound as good as right after i broke them in. Because of the build, you never have to use max volume unless the song its...  Read More

Shure hasa stellar rep. Shure earns their name. Just another awesome professional tool from shure.

Shures are a darn sight easier to put on and take off than inserting earphones into your ear canals. Sound isolation is very good, works great in loud environments.

Cons

The build is extremely cheap and fragile. The band plastic material itself is as brittle as a half burnt firewood. It advertises the fact that it can rotate sideways etc but each of those rotation points are a point of failure.

Quality

I loved the quality andre sound of the product

Its the best headphone i've ever owned the sound quality is everything it promises and more.

Both suffer from similar build quality issues.

In my initial experience with the srh750djs, i was quite negative about both the sound and build quality issues.

Price

Totally love this gear and its price!

Sennheiser's dj cans and the akg tiesto k267 cost $100 more.

Shipping

Shipping experience its very goo like what ive said no damage or anything and its 1 day prior from the day i suppose to get it.

Packaging/appearance

I personally think the sound on these blows the m50's out of the water.

So, two surprises here: the m40x, touted to be neutral, is bassier and more “v”shaped than most believe, while the 750dj, a dj ...  Read More

Competitiveness

These pretty much win in power competitions.

Those who are fans of sennheisers, which are typically warm/relaxed, will like how the 750djs sound.

Bottom line: soundwise, especially with eq and good amping, the 750dj is a competitor, but buildwise, it is a loser.

Shure really should fix and upgrade the dj series with better build to match the competition, many of which sport far better pa...  Read More
