Pros & Cons
Pros
Shurflo stainless steel city water connection is an easy replacement for your old, outdated inlet. Used to replace a 45 year old shur-flo water inlet on a motorhome.
The durability and aesthetic are very pleasing. Fit perfect. Worked as advertised.
Cons
Never connected to any municipal water source so the inlet was literally never used. The pressure at my rv site( have been here for about 5 months working) is only about 65psi. Unfortunately it leaks.
I find it unsuitable for the purpose, even though it technically might function.
Highlights
Quality
They do give you a fitting with the kit but it is a 90° connection!
Put it in very happy with it it works fine
Packaging/appearance
Trying to use on a bayliner 4588 but doesn’t fit and made of thin plastics
Competitiveness
This matched my broken unit exaclty (froze in sub zero weather).
My original shur-flo lasted 4 years before developing a leak.

We replaced this rvs pressureregulator backfill preventer because the original equipment manufacturer oem mounted it to rigid pipelines which is clearly noted not to do in the installation instructions

Therefore the original unit had sprung a leak when the plastic portion of the regulator cracked due to constant vibrations from the rvs interior waterpressure pump

What we liked is that the new replacement regulator matched exactly to what we were replacing
