Pros

No more leaking and dry under the sink. Filters water b4 going into water heater und my sink. Based on the water tank level, there was never an actual water leak. Gpm 12v water pump.

Cons

Chlorine strip colors are barely distinguishable on the bottle code. When the strip is dunked into the water to get the reading, the wet color is hard to match. Dang sure isn't a filter.

American designed 1/2 npt threads has about a 1 degree narrowing taper in the threads. Threads easily get stripped and misaligned.

I have used it several times, it worked fine, no leaks appeared and fitted nicely and precisely to the pump suction.

Very easy to install and it corrected the water flow issue.

This stared to leak after a year of having it on, i put thread tape on it and it stopped the leaking.

The clear trap reservoir on the filter is easily removed for cleaning, guaranteeing no trash in the foot valve.

Although i found this a bit expensive and something shurflo should have included with the new pump, it was easy to install and ... Read More
