They dont go through to pages and they dont make the pages very sticky

The black ink on the actual highlighters comes off pretty quickly and it leaves some black residue on your hands

Be careful not to over do it the gel can be sticky and over highlighting opposite but facing pages can get the pages to stick together causing possible rips when turning pages

Another problem with facing pages is the highlighted page can bleed onto a facing page
