It's easy to carry around and the sound quality is more than you would expect from a radio this size.
Sound quality is not great, but small size is a plus.
Sound quality is not tinny like most arelove it.

I believe the chip in this is the 4734 which is also used in the pl-310et.
Competitiveness
I have never had a shortwave radio before.
On the positive side:it's tiny, quite a bit smaller than the otherwise similar tecsun pl-380 and pl-310et radios.
