First impressions were that it’s well made with an overall feeling of quality.
The heating element wires stop about 5 inches from the edge of the material each side, so it effectively has an unheated border.
It’s quite slow to fully warm up; i always switch it on at least half an hour before bedtime, on no.

This item was excellent value for money as i bought it as a sale item.
Overall great value for money and does the job well.
Having said that, even at full price it is worth considering.
Bottom line, this is an inexpensive, functional electric blanket.

Took for ever to arrive, i had to contact amazon to find out where it was and that was a mission.
Finally arrived yesterday after three weeks, no apologies for its lateness from seller.
I personally found i got used to it pretty quickly, but they can be felt when lying down.

The item was well packaged and it's very easy to set up.
Competitiveness
Although i've seen other heated blankets at budget prices, i would be weary about choosing an unknown brand for safety reasons.

Had to have hard plug bit at bottom or it jabbed you in the shoulderface that meant the wire control was at the foot of the bed so i had to sit up to turn it off once i was in bed
