Silentnight are a household name in the uk beds and bedding industry, although the brand is currently part of the hig group. The pillow is a combined feather and down pillow making it plump and robust.
I am fussy when it comes to pillows. One's head seems to slowly sink into it, with the pillow offering just the right amount of resistance.
Cons
The cover of the pillow is a something may on the inner side a rubbery fabric what makes cracking-popping noise. Wife says it is too firm for her, far away from feather down feeling, more like a brick.

The only criticism i have is the price.

I have no hesitation recommending it and i would replace it, should i have to, with a further pillow from the range/supplier.

I often find while one may be good for sleeping on not creating too much of a ridge thus avoiding a sore neck in the morning they are not great for propping up and leaning against when reading

As a pillow these sorts of feather pillows i find do not separate into clumps or take on a shape which is lumpy and uncomfortable and cant be removed with a good hard shake
