The mattress is thinner than most as is a bunk bed mattress this means that the sheet has excess depth but easy enough to tuck under and doesnt cause any issues

This is virtually noise less i can hear the tiniest of rusting when there is movement but it is nothing that causes a disturbance

Ive sat on the bed there is no discomfort from this being under the bedsheets infact id go as far as saying you cant tell its there to begin with
