Pros
Usb-c cable holder is nice and convenient. Case feels sturdy and also it’s a terabyte. My 5tb is over 4 yrs old and still running strong with daily use.
Cons
Drive is formatted ntfs and will not reformat. Keeps crashing and wants me to keep repairing it. Also tried plugging it into my husbands newer xbox one and it still was undetected.
Have sent emails requesting a return merchandise authorization. Instructions are poor, called support 10 times an line is busy. Returning for refund.

I use as extra storage space for my ps5 and it was easy to setup and use
Sp is very robust so i would highly recommend them if you’re in the market.
Get a pair every 6 months and rotate your data, use older drives for redundancy archiving.
These failings are disappointing because the product as advertised seems pretty good.
Shipping
It arrived very quickly, i could set it up easily and now i will never be able to decide what game to play.

Since 2018 i have been buying different capacity drives from this manufacturer.
I used many other brands but they were all inferior.
In general any other brand i used never lasted more than 3 years.
I use osx and have unfavorable experiences with wd and lacie.

On most pcs with usb 2 or 3 you wont get speeds higher than 90100 mbs between same drives connected on the same hub

On average i get about 7080 mbs

I could get 120130mbs while copying from my pcs ssd drive to these depending how full sps are
