Pros
This is the best storage ssd drive i’ve ever had. This drive is also very portable and rugged too. I am so impressed that i will probably get the 2tb version eventually, and am hoping they come out with 3tb and maybe even 4tb models later on.
The drive is fast and worked immediately upon plugging in. I use this for gaming because my laptop has limited drive space. Use it with my xbox. It seems to always stay on even when the xbox is a off.
Cons
It is slow as it fills up, and the device overheats if it is used a lot. Also it feels cheaply made with cheap materials. Almost flimsy. The write speeds are fair. Its even slower than usb 2.
The usb-c port on the drive is faulty. On repeated tests the drive gets progressively slower, down to under 2 mb/s. It stops responding until it is unplugged and plugged back in. It's probably fine if used as a backup drive, but it is a lot slower tha... Read More

Been very happy with the product - ssds are the way to go - fast and much less likely to fail.
Included usb cables are high quality as well.
I was very satisfied with the ruggedness of the case, the fact it is usb 3.
After formatting it with the ps4 for use as an external drive; it immediately worked.

An excellent bagdet ssd unit undercutting lots of the competition.
Inexpensive 1tb ssd that has a metal case, usb c 3.
I bought an extension (6') usb3 cord, relocated it away, and that resolved the issue.

Not only that but the games are so much faster at loading because its ssd instead of hdd like whats in the ps4

Came preformatted in fat32 which means you cant have files over 4gb so i will have to format it to exfat or ntfs

Ive tried pressing the two halves of the aluminum casing together and also tightening the screws that hold the two halves together but there is light from the indicator led shining through the small space between where the two halves of the case dont quite come together

Data transfer is super fast and they dont have a bunch of bloatware or files that take up space however its not a secure drive
