I use this to store my os of truenas scale on my severe and it works great.

Mine broke in the first 6 months.

Even the worst nvme drive will demolish a sata-6g drive.

I will say, i’ve ordered plenty of these in varying sizes, and for the price it’s fantastic!

Works great and at a good price

I can strongly recommend this for people who need to breath life into a pc and can't afford a whole unit, or those who need storage.

I had to pay return shipping which was 5.

I just sent them a picture of the order receipt from amazon and they ran the product and sent me a new one.

Packaging/appearance

Everything from performance to packaging, this one is much better than similar priced small capacity ssds.

There is a box you can check, optimise for ssd, to speed up the cloning massively.

Competitiveness

There are better tlc ssds from reputable brands at lower or comparable price which also have dram cache.

Samsung and other name brands do not manufacture small capacity drives anymore so i needed to find a quality alternative.
