Pros & Cons
Pros
Silicon power's rugged 1tb external hard drive on windows 11. It offers a very capable backup as well as a daily drive. This drive is also very portable and rugged too.
It is so fast! It even seems fast enough taht you could play games or run programs off of it. Good read/write speeds of 530/460 mb/sec respectively, but only while ssd fast cache buffer is free.
I use this for storing my games on my ps4 slim. It works great. I also use it with my xbox. It stays on even when the xbox is off.

I then add a holder latch to the side of one of the shortways strips to hold the connection wires for usb powered drives.
Cons
Caveat emptor. The drive is cheap feeling and almost flimsy. It says it's aluminum but felt really light and flimsy to me. Not to mention there was a sketchy exe when it was initially plugged in.
Highlights
Quality
After formatting it with the ps4 for use as an external drive; it immediately worked.
I’m using this for my xbox external, fantastic product
We got the 1 tb version - it easily connects with the usb cord and does not need any external power for it to run.

Price
This was a great buy at a great price!
Shipping
Super strong, military grade and is super fast on usb c port.
Is as fast as accessing it on your c drive.
Competitiveness
Add in the great price point (especially when you can catch it on sale) and it's a no-brainer for me.
This drive does not allow ps5 apps to run directly off of it.

Ive tried pressing the two halves of the aluminum casing together and also tightening the screws that hold the two halves together but there is light from the indicator led shining through the small space between where the two halves of the case dont quite come together
