Pros
It's very lightweight and portable. The included usb c/a adapter is a nice bonus.
Cons
Material quality is not good. It is plasticy, feeling cheap. Type c port sometimes disconnects itself. Especially, just after 1-2 gb transfer, speed decreases drastically.

I use this external ssd for video editing; it words very well for this purpose.
This is nice, but the cap is a little clumsy, wish it would be removable
Hourly backups mean high duty cycles so the jury is still out on durability.
Price
But, for pc and android, this is a nifty and inexpensive portable stirage, though.

Cant run black magic on it because a time machine drive is read only outside of the time machine app

When i was trying to use it to transfer some files to an ipad the darn thing wouldnt get recognized an ipad with usb c rather than lightning portso pluggged directly to the device

I wondered if that might be due to power issues but that doesnt seem to be it either it still wouldnt show when connected to a powered usb c hub

Its not formatting since both drives are formatted exfat

So at least in my experience this drive does not seem to work with ipads for reasons unknown

It does feel a bit cheap but that doesnt matter much when its sitting behind the wiiu
