Pros

Performance is on par with advertised speeds, drive seems solid so far. Phison controller is better than my sabrent rocket controller. Read/write speeds are as advertised.

Cons

Seagate xs70 has a terrible heat sink. On the 4tb version i have, it’s almost impossible to get it off fully so that it even matters. It doesn’t properly fit in any m2 slot i have.

Trying to do something with this drive has been a bit of a nightmare. Files that are present in explorer are not accessible to the program trying to reference them. This is explicitly stated its compatible for.
