Pros

Gb nvme hard drive with 256gb of storage. Used to back up my old 1 tb hard drive. Now all of my internal storage is reserved for ps5 games. Can store up to 2. Tb of tb of data. Can backup up to 1 tb of datum.

Easy to install. Works well even on a raspberry pi 4 - 8gb. Only issue is with the samsung. A bit of a pain installing the ssd not because of the s sd design.

If amazon dont want to play ball on this, they are not exempt from this as a resaler. Great value for the decent price. Very happy with the result.

The speed is good compared to a disc hard drive at 3 or 4 times quicker. It makes the computer start up much quicker.

Cons

Failed to install internally on my new acer laptop with acer supplied caddy. Need to remove from remove & attach again and reboot the system for it to be detected.

A few dead after < 8 month use. Some only approx 5months of light use. Lost productivity replacing and reinstalling os & apps. Has died after only a few weeks of using the app.

For the price it is extremely good for what it needs to do.

Price to value ratio is spot on.

Competitiveness

That being said, i personally have only ever had positive interactions with amazon and find their support better than most in store stuff.

You will need to spend more money to get this feature on a different product.

Not sure how long this will last compared to other brands but happy with it so far.

The only one thats given me trouble is the samsung and its worth the same price as all the afore mentioned.
