Pros

It is pretty easy to install but every laptop is different so do your research before purchasing ram. They come in pet packaging that require scissors to open. Easy to install.

Gb (2 x 8 gb) ddr3 1600 mhz. It works pretty well and it did increase my old gaming laptop performance. It is an older memory so it is not as fast as ddr4 but that is okay.

And the price was just too good to pass up.

Good quality, and lowest price, no complaints.

Not sure why one would pay double the price.

It is an older memory so it is not as fast as ddr4 but that is okay.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was actually pretty tough it actually took some effort to cut the ram out but i am glad it is well protected.

Hynix, samsung, and micron will do custom packaging for anyone with a different brand name on the ics.

There are many bits of misinformation about whether this will work in the qnap-451+ .

The issues is that i had to cut and pull the ram out of the packaging.

Competitiveness

I bought these for a dell inspiron 5558 model.

Very suitable for macbook pro (13-inch, mid 2012), and made a big difference in the performance of my mac.

I ordered these as compatible for apple but they turned out to be packaged for general sale as ddr3l/pc3 12800 modules.
