In my case i purchased the 480 gb s60 option which is based on mlc technology

But the silicon power website specification lists both mlc and tlc at 1500000 hours mean time before failure which is far longer than i hope to live so either would be a good choice

It will run for a while and when complete the hdd can be removed and the ssd put in its place
