It offers some protection from drops but is fairly thin so anything more than a short drop and you will likely have a broken screen

One thing ive noticed though is that it is more difficult to accidentally turn on the ringer with the phone in the case despite the easy access to the switch than when the phone is not in a case at all

I use the case for a few hours walking in the mallits a nice and very slim case its so thin you wont feel you have case when holding your phone phone is secured when on it
